Music

Music - Movement - Drama

The General Music Curriculum at GAPS provides student with a comprehensive approach to music education that includes Creating, Performing, Responding and Connecting. Students experience music through singing, creative movement, playing instruments, dancing, reading and writing music, and exploratory play.

Students develop their own sense of self-expression through music as well as the role music can have in connectedness as a class, as a school, and as a community.

The GAPS General Music Curriculum encourages and prepares students for lifelong musical learning and appreciation both in and out of school.
